Happy 2025! I read 119 books, 73 fiction, and 45 non-fiction, in 2024. Fifty-four of those were audiobooks (which is my preferred format for non-fiction and sometimes a thriller).

My favorite book of the year was The Wedding People, which struck a beautiful balance of being a beachier read with a lot of depth. James was a close second. I can't remember if I've read Huckleberry Finn, but that didn't feel necessary to enjoy James. I thought it was particularly good on audio.
